I was watching "This Little Wiggy" the other day on my local FOX station and it just struck me as odd that Marge would pair Bart up with Ralph, who's two years younger than he is.

Maybe I'm reading too much into this, but wouldn't Lisa have been a better playmate for Ralph?

No, because despite the age difference, Bart is closer to Ralph mentally than Lisa.

and the pairing of ralph and lisa was disaterous. chocolate never comes out. marge wanted ralph to be cool..not whatever it is that lisa is.
