In the past tweney years, Kevin Costner appeared in three Westerns. His first one, Silverado, was released in the mid 1980's. Then, in 1990, he starred in and directed Dances With Wolves, which eventually was named Best Picture in that year. In 1994, he did another Western with Wyatt Earp. Unforunately, the film was a major box office bomb, which led to Kevin Costner's downhill film career (Waterworld, The Postman).
