Speaking of which...this year will be the last year for the Far Side Off The Wall calendar. If anyone cares.

You know how many times they've claimed this is going to be the last year? Honestly, I remember back in 1990, they claimed that 1991 was going to be the last year because Larson wanted to "hang 'em up".

They said the same thing again in 1992. That's when I stopped believing.

I don't necessarily doubt that about the calendar although I've never heard that...but you may be thinking of when he stopped creating new cartoons for newspapers which was about that time period..and maybe they were going to stop doing calendars but then decided to keep doing them. I don't doubt them this time because they are probably just out of cartoons to use for them.
