Minor correction. It isn't a nay nay, it is a Ne-ne. The Ne-ne is the state bird of Hawaii, and is endangered, but still around last I heard. They are somewhat similar to Canadian geese in appearance.

Yes, skinner did mention it as extinct. Just wanted to clarify.

Um, no.

The extinct birds were indeed the Dodo, the Cuckoo, and the Ne-Ne (two of three still surviving, but comedic license, you know).

The birds you refer to, the Booby, the Titmouse, the Woodcock, and the Titpecker are just species the lizard has "nasty plans for".
