"I'm Going to Praiseland" stank

Maybe I'm in the minority here, but I thought this episode blew chunks. I found my self watching this turkey and thinking "they look like the simpson characters, the talk like the simpson characters, but something's wrong here". This season has had a couple of real classics, but writing like this drags the whole thing down. I mean, how believable is it to think Ned is going to let the Simpsons go through his house clearing out his stuff? The only good bit in the whole show was the chipper. Otherwise, it tanked badly.

Oh, and doesn't it generally take a few million to build a theme park?

This (and the week before last's Futurama) were the only two shows I turned off in disgust 3/4's of the way through.

No doubt. And the people that write this utter crap want more money. Writer's strike? Screw that crap. The show should fire the staff and start creating episodes from some of the excellent fan fiction thats out there.

Doesn't this show you how topical The Simpsons is? For every situation, there seems to be a Simpsons quote that can be applied to it. Mind you though, I worry about some of the people who think of them.. must have seen the episodes in question about a dozen (or more) times..
