I noticed that too, I missed the James "HELL" Brooks, et all. Was this also due to the 9/11 stuff or was it just an oversight?

That's what I was thinking - could it have been an oversight, after 10 years of fake names (remember toh [i] didn't have them)? The episode simply reeked of unenthusiasm and carelessness.

Was it nessessary to CONSTANTLY remind the viewers that Pierce Brosnan guest voiced in the second segment. What's wrong with letting the audience be surprised when they hear the voice?

How come the last two THOH episodes have been short on terror and gore and heavy on bizzare plots and fantasy situations. "I Know What You Did-Diddly Did" was the last THOH segment to use real horrific elements.

Homer complains about missing half his head in the second segment. Thats fine. But where is the huge hole in the VERY NEXT SHOT??

There's a fine line between gore and disgusting visual gags. The vomiting frog? Smithers eating Burns? Please.

Maybe after all the guest stars they've had over the years, viewers are too accustomed to actually having the person on rather than an impersonation. I know that if Maurice LaMarche had been credited like that for William Shatner and George C. Scott in "A Star Is Burns," I wouldn't have spent so many viewings trying to figure out just who the hell he played.
