But this new episode takes place in Ireland, and again perpetrates the stereotype that the Irish drink. Yet Ireland led the wonderful Father Mathew's temperance movement and Ireland has always been known for freedom from alcohol and still is (if you look hard enough). Here I watch a children's television show to be educated about world cultures, and what do I get? Tired stereotypes. Maybe I'm wrong, and the new episode is really about the glorious Temperance Movement; I can't see it yet, I'm not in Ireland.
