Actually, there's no such thing as "The" Smithsonian Museum; it is a collection of museums in Washington. In fact, the Hope Diamond, the "Spirit of St. Louis", and Fonzie's jacket are in three different museums (Natural History, Air and Space, and American History, respectively).

In the scene with the slide, the "extra" kids appeared out of nowhere; nobody climbed up the slide's ladder.

Homer saw a "popup" about Ned; who would have told Homer anything about Ned?
