The Disco Stu thing was more a reference to the fact that, according to many, it was not uncommon for men in ancient greece to keep young boys for companionship. You can read as much into that as you want, as I don't think there is exaclty agreement on whether or not the relationships were of a sexual nature. Never the less, it was not something that was looked down upon and the men would not have been considered gay or bisexual (if they even had labels for such things) simply because he had a young companion.
