"Rrrri-carrr-do Bomba," Black said, extravagantly rolling the "R's" in Spanish-language fashion. "He's someone that all the women love and all the men want to be."

It doesn't realy sound like a new character. It kind of sounds like Bumble Bee Man, mixed with a "lady's man". I'm sure "Senor Ding-DOng" wasn't the only time we've seen that sort of character. Come to think of it, we sort of saw that sort of character in that episode that had elements of "Catch Me If You Can", the older gentleman who pursued Grampa Simpson.

Yes, I can see this character rapidly disappearing into the background after a big launch.

I don't see any connection to Bumble Bee Man other than that they're both Hispanic. Maybe a little of the others, depending on how it's played.

I reckon they need to focus on another character along the lines of Dr Nick, Lionel Hutz or Mayor Quimby... you know - the dodgy, corrupt type of characters. Always put a smile on my face, they did.
