New Xmas episode

This is one of the funniest episodes of The Simpsons in years.

It explored some fresh territory in Ned Flanders' jealousy of Homer; a competitive side to Ned that has never been seen before.

I laughed out loud at:

� The two men in the lingerie shop who try on the bikini underwear Marge was purchasing for Homer

� Comic Book Guy splitting his pants, then wrapping his jacket around his waist, then splitting the jacket

� Nelson repeatedly taunting Ned Flanders, who had been "usurped" as Springfield's most generous man

� "Mr McGrew" mistaking a pot belly stove for a pregnant woman, and sticking his head inside.

� The entire "Grinch" sequence, including the song, Homer drugging a little girl, then drugging a teddy bear.

� The Christmas star that is revealed to be a signal flare fired by Hans Moleman, who then mistakes a pack of wolves for "rescue dogs."

Comic Book Guy falls on ice and rips pants. "OH!....activate cloaking device!" Ties jacket around waste and yanks sleeves...back of jacket also rips. "Oh, I'm so depressed...engage candy bar." (Chewing) "Thank you."

...That was a funny scene...BTW, I like how Homer and Marge are just about to go to sleep and Homer casually mentions that he "built a skating rink for the whole town" in the back yard...and people are skating on it.

- Must be a new fan. There has already been an episode that was pretty much identical to this one. Homer has already usurped Neds place and yes, Ned got very jealous and even had an outburst in church. It's season 15 and I guess they think it's ok to recycle plotlines.
