...til the greatest band on earth graces our screens on a brand new episode of the Simpsons ;-)

heh heh... i wonder what all you non-Phish fans are expecting for this show... lots of us have been waiting for months for this episode.

You shouldn't wait for an episode like this. It's setting yourself up to be disappointed.

I expect a good simpsons show, no more no less. I never expect more, that's how some shows end up being great and some just bad.

Whether it's good or not, what I mean is that it'll be exciting to see the boys on TV ;-) I used to get excited when they'd be on Conan or Letterman, as well, heh...

I'm definitely not expecting any big surprises or anythin, but it'll be great just hearing their voices. I'm just interested to see what part they'll actually have in the show.

Meh. Phish is definitely overrated as a band. IMHO, if it takes mass quantities of drugs to enjoy a band's music, then I'd rather waste my time on something else.

I've never touched a cigarette, either. And I believe there's no other band that has the talent that Phish does. What their music does to me is beyond what I think any drug could ever do. And there's lots of other fans like me.

You saying that it takes mass quantities of drugs to enjoy their music is quite ignorant, because it shows you know nothing about Phish and their following. Sure, a lot of people take drugs at shows. But people do at any concert. (Go to a dave matthews concert, for instance...)

Most certainly. That happened to be the episode of Austin City Limits that airs this week (april 6-12) and your local station just so happens to show Austin City Limits the hour before the simpsons are on (are you in Dallas/Ft.Worth?) Each PBS station sets their own schedule.

Mr. George Harrisson had fewer lines when he appeard on "The Simpsons" A lot guest stars don't talk much when they come on the show. That's not new.
