I am trying to find out the title of the little piece of jazz that was played while bart was in the tree house. The guy was playing the saxaphone. any help appreciated.

I believe the piece is called "Take Five" by Dave Brubeck. I could be mistaken though.
Thanks, that is what most people believe it to be. I just downloaded the sond and it seems to be it. Been bothering the better half ever since she heard it. One of those, you know i heard that somewhere before type of things.

I thought Dave Brubeck's "Take Five" but as soon as I thoguht that, it was over so I'm not certain. It would certainly fit the rest of the feel of the episode, sixties vintage stuff that one would take up if you wanted to appear hip. Dave Brubeck had a big following on university and college campuses in the early sixties when the song (and the album it was on) was released, maybe especially on the west coast where he sort of embodied west coast jazz.
