(SLIGHT spoiler)
I never expected another episode of this quality. Though the ending could have been improved, the ep made me laugh so hard and so long I had to pause it at least five times.
A couple times I felt like I was going to pass out from laughing so hard. Plus the story was really good. There was some relatively serious drama. Homer and Marge splitting has been done to death but I can overlook that because the episode was so unbelievably *funny*, and it is above all else a comedy.

I'm not a laugh out loud guy, in fact it annoys me when people type that in e-mails, but I do enjoy well-written and clever comedy. To each their own, but I think you and I were watching different shows last night. I hated this episode. More like that one and I wouldn't miss the show if it were cancelled mid-season. And it sucks to type that and mean it.

Agreed, the first act was the best.
It didn't make me laugh out loud, but then I hardly ever do. But I thought it was at least the best episode this year.
