Once again, I thought there was to have been a new episode tonight. But WTTG showed The X Factor, and the TV listings in the newspaper said they were to show a baseball game.
Is Fox trying to kill the show? If people keep tuning in to see it, only to find it's not on, they'll soon give up.
So what's the real schedule? And how likely is it to change? Thanks.

Likely because they have already run some new episodes this season. So if one noticed that, but not paid attention to the specifics, they too might wonder "I thought there was going to be a new episode".
If they don't bother starting until baseball is over, then it's a whole lot clearer. If they start early, then one has to pay attention because there will be interruptions (and even possibly interruptions of baseball which causes FOX to put on a rerun episode of The Simpsons since they hadn't scheduled a new episode because they thought there'd be a baseball game that night.

Nobody here has done that. Maybe it's equally foolish to rely on Wikipedia as the source for when new episodes will be shown, as I did. I don't know.

It doesn't currently list any episodes between October 2 and October 30, but it did.
We'll see if the October 30 episode also disappears.

However, because of the rainout from the previous week, which caused a game to be moved, Fox needed a place to air a new episode of "The X Factor" that got lost in the shuffle, so they aired it this Sunday.
