In Despritly Xeeking Xena, how come lucy lawless has no accent, and if you say the wizard, go to hell

Are we to believe that this is some sort of, heh, magic accent? I sure hope someone got fired for that one.

No idea. Perhaps she was trying to stick to the "American" accent she used for "Xena"? Even when she's making appearances on talk shows, though, her accent isn't very thick.

Same reason that David E. Kelly can produce 3 hit shows all "supposed" to be in Boston, MA. But not one character sound like anything but a California native.
