hey, it's not a strike, it's a lockout, and when the animated that they had no clue that the stanley cup would be canceled.

I'm impressed that they had this opening right after the season was cancelled (though it seemed pretty obvious for months, since if they needed much of the year to play hockey, they've lost most of that time).

It almost makes me wonder if they can switch openings at the last minute.

Of course, if they'd aired it last week, some people could post about that Curse they always seem to be posting about.

But significantly easier to animate at the last minute, I'd think. (Still, with the digital scanning and coloring being used today, the 5-second couch gag might not be as hard; just do the drawings and clean them up.)
