Season Six DVD box set is by far the WORST DVD BOX EVER.
The process that you have to go through to get a replacement is horrendous. First step is to sit through a terrible Homer impersonation telling you to go to a web site. (Alternatively, you can talk to a service rep by staying on the line).
At the site you navigate through several pages to get to a PDF form that you must print out and mail to Fox along with $2.95 for shipping, (check or money order), and proof of purchase.
What a load! I remember when I wanted a case for my Lord of the Rings trilogy. I didn't have to prove that I had bought anything, and all the business was done on the web site using my credit card.
Maybe it's time that 20th Century Fox entered the 21st century.

Apparently these are possible images of the next five sets, people here thought they were fakes, but as far as I can get from the internet, because there are a few differences in the final box for season six people think that they were mockups of how they could look (as they would have to make these to prove that it could be done etc). Do a search maybe someone has saved them and has them up somewhere else. I think due to Fox pulling them off this site that maybe they could be real!? Who knows?
I also don't get the snarky tone on the website. You are forced to choose between one of five juvenile reasons you want the old style box, forcing you to call yourself anal-retentive, a nerd, or a big baby. Why is this necessary? It's a nice and considerate thing that they offered fans the option of getting the old style box, but then they mock you for getting it. I can take a joke, but this one is just baffling.
I don't mind the new box all that much, but it is cumbersome to open and takes up more space than the old one, but I do like the flippable trays that hold the DVD's, that is one definite improvement.

The tray set is nice... I actually like the gooey center of the S6 box and will probably file it like that until the replacement box comes (and possibly even after), but the booklet has a tendency to fall out and (I found this out by leaving it angled down in a drawer) the trays actually migrated up about 1.5 inches. I fixed this by carefully prying the back off and reattaching the gluey bits.
