Northern Kentucky!!!!

I just heard in Behind the Laughter, they are a Northern Kentucky family! I never caught it before.

What are you going to say when you see the version of that episode where they say "Missouri"?

Hmmm, I've been wondering if they've actually been making conflicting references just to make it ambiguous what state it is in?

Two questions I really must have answered before I die:

• What state is Springfield in?
• What's Malcolm's (in the middle) last name?

There used to be three things, but I have since learned that the Flying Nun's "civilian" name was Elsie Ethrington.

Springfield is nowhere, therefore the ambiguity is not to cover where it is, but to cover the fact that it doesn't represent anywhere.

It's like watching Romper Room, and at the end the host looks into her magic mirror and says "I see Bobby, and Helen and ..." BY using only first names, anytime your name came up you believed it was you she was talking about, real magic. The minute you get specific, that doesn't happen.
