I agree, that was definitely a great and typical Homer exchange. Too bad it came as a result of the most ridiculous plot turn in the history of the show.

Well the weird thing is, I thought it was actually a really good episode right up until the third segment. Sure they were kind of writing themselves into a corner with the first two segments, but it was great stuff. Then Homer fell down the hole... Just awful.

For "Complete waste of an ENTIRE episode" yeah, I'm going to have to agree with you there. Though the first segment was at least watchable, the rest of it was hideously ridiculous or ridiculously hideous (take your pick).

I wish I everyone would just pretend that episode NEVER happened (including Groening and Co.).
