REVIEW: B-minus - there's one word for this episode: "yawn". The only reason it doesn't get a C is because they didn't have Ned chicken out from having non-marital sex. And at least "Monty Python & the Holy Grail" had an excuse for a lame ending. (For the record, they ran out of money.)

GOOFS / FREEZE FRAME / WHATNOT Did somebody say, "Ned had to fill out 'federal and state tax forms' in May"? They weren't his income tax forms, but tax forms for his business.

The caterpillar that turned into a butterfly in Homer's mouth didn't spin any cocoon first.

I always wondered about that. Although, I believe Monty Python could have still come up with a better ending, the one they have is beyond lame, in my opinion.

Decades ago, somebody discovered that when a phone number was shown in a movie or on TV, there would be people calling it just to see who would answer. The national phone company decided not to give anybody a number beginning with 555, so movies and TV shows could use 555 numbers without anybody getting strange phone calls. Recently, some cities started assigning 555 numbers to certain organizations, because they needed the other numbers for personal phones (I'm pretty sure it's because so many people have cellular phones and pagers that they're starting to run out of numbers), so everybody got together and pretty much agreed that only 555-01xx numbers would be used for movies and TV. (A lot of movies are using 555-0199.)
