My senior pre calc consists of this being repeated until I get yelled at...
Teacher: 4(pi)/6 Me: mmmmm...floor pie...
maybe I should grow up

--- Why bother growing up? I'm 40 years old, but I refuse to grow up!

Me, too! I am 45, with an MS in Mechanical Engineering, from MIT no less, and I also refuse to grow up! That bumper sticker "You're Never to Old to Enjoy Your Second Childhood" has no meaning to me, because I am still on my first childhood!
What the hell is pre-calc anyway! I just took Calculus when I was an undergrad, at Georgia Tech, and Advanced Calculus when I was a graduate student, at MIT. I can just see Homer doing complex numbers: "Mmmm, residues."

huh...pre-calc...well my class registration guide says "This course prepares the student for the study of calculus. Topics include sequences, series, and limits; polynomial, logarithmic, and exponential functions; analytic geometry; complex numbers; trig and circular functions; polar coordinates; vectors and determinants; probability and statistics" So if that means anything to you...

The four millionth number of pi is 1. And you are wearing a white tie with red stripes.
Why would he say "4(pi)/6? Doesn't he know how to reduce?
Yama. Destiny, infinity, eternity.

Zuh?
because it's before reduction...besides, I can't be a smartass with 2(pi)/3...

I'm in pre-cal and I hate it. I'm only taking it because colleges supposedly like it. I'm not going to major in engineering or anything.
