this is quite a great episode, and i'm glad that FOX here in LA is actually showing some good episodes from the "classic" seasons (2 - 7). However how come Part II is never shown, and why is it so much worse then the first half?

Often, stations will show syndicated episodes in production order, not airing order (though wtxf in philadelphia is an exception...they go all over the place) - anyway, since the two parts are 2F16 and 2F20, it may take a few days for your station to get around to WSMB 2 - on the other hand, they could just have decided against it or something, I'm not really sure if you just saw part 1 today or if it was last week.
