the biggest reason Y I hate sports like baseball and football after when it's finally goddamn over we had 2 see a bunce of middle aged freaks talkin' about the players and how great they R when they did that threw out the hole game.
That's why I say we need to institute a completely sports-free season. The world would be a much better place.

As much as I hate missing my shows hell it's the playoffs. Greenbay/Philly was a good game too. I just really hate it when I most shows for meaningly games. I may be the only sports fan here.

Here's how it *should* work. When a sports program goes over time, at the end of the scheduled time, the broadcast should move to PBS. PBS would be paid a fee for this, which would be more than enough to make up for inconveniencing both PBS viewers (hell, just give PBS half the advertising revenue from the overtime portion of the game, and it will probably be more than they get from any equivalent amount of pledge-break time). When the broadcast moves, a signal should also be broadcast that lets VCRs and PVRs that are recording the game to know that they need to switch to PBS to keep recording.

I sent an email to Fox requesting that the NFL refs call a half-hour official time-out when The Simpsons airs during my time zone so that I won't miss the show.
