Season 1 DVD

I am expecting the Season 1 DVD for Chrismas. What is this I heard about a secret DVD in the cover? What lost episodes will there be?

Correct, but the first season was 7Gxx, not 7Fxx.

Secret DVD in the cover? Like someone embedded an extra disc in there? Not likely...there are extra features, two of which aren't listed in the packaging - go to www.dvdeastereggs.com to find them, but off the top of my head if you can get your cursor to bart's t-shirt in one menu and to his comic book in another (both on disc 3), you can see those features. What I'd like to know is what they plan to do about the missing parts of 7G07! That really annoys me...At the very least I hope they put those scenes on the season 2 dvds (or maybe if there's room put the whole episode there, that would make more sense)...there's no reason other than accident for them to be left out (since they're both there in syndication).

Oh yes, and it pissed me off when I learned about it. Someone else posted it first, but you can see the missing parts at www.snpp.com/episodes/scg-1.txt - look under 7g07, they are marked with $s...apparently those were cut from the second airing (to make time for somethign else?), and I guess that's the one they encoded. The other issue that comes up is if this will happen for all the rest - that is, encoding the second run...because of various broadcast ambiguities - they SHOULD be looking to see which one was most complete, and I hope they fix this and do that in the future.

Actually, I think I got this backwards perhaps...it may be the one from subsequent airings that is on the DVD and not the original one and the orginal one is the one now used in syndication.

I got a Homer rubics cube. It didn't look that hard, but I promptly messed it up.
