8:00 - The Simpsons Movie (43622) A movie about an animated family takes an abrupt turn when Fox decides that showing Otto smoking a bong, Marge saying "damn", Homer giving people the finger with both hands, and even Ned and his sons saying "penis" (much less showing a horizontal black bar covering Bart's, which is believed to be the only edit made when the movie aired on FX) is too much to show on network TV.

Was there nothing they could cut from the episode that would make room for an opening? I don't think it was removed as some sort of protest (e.g. for "revealing" the Milk Can Escape), as it does say "The Simpsons" near the end of the closing credits. (Also, none of the producers' names were removed from the credits.)

It's surprising to see David Copperfield, Ricky Jay, and Penn & Teller involved in an episode where they (supposedly) reveal a method for doing the Milk Can Escape. (Okay, maybe not so surprising for Penn & Teller...)
Teller has spoken before (he talked quite a bit on a Discovery Channel special on magic in the 1990s); I will assume that really was him.
Either get Tress MacNeille to get Lunch Lady Doris to sound like Doris Grau, or retire the character.
