No Beer And No TV Make Homer Something Something

I dont get it. Why didnt he just say GO CRAZY. What is he an idiot? And why would no beer and no TV make u go crazy. It all just doesnt add up. What kind of crack was Conan on when he wroge that one anyhow.

In addition to that being classic Simpsons humor, it's also a parody on the Shining...all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy...plus, even if homer was a little dumber than usual, it was both for the same of the parody and also in a treehouse of horror, so usual continuity need not apply.

The joke comes in after she says "go crazy?"

Homer turns her questioned answer into a perceived command, at which he replies, "don't mind if I do!" and proceeds to go crazy.
