"Don't Fear the Roofer" Was there a roof-jumping glitch?

Did anyone notice that when Ray was helping Homer with the roof and Ray left, he just jumped off the roof?

I think it was a set up for when Homer falls off the roof shortly after that..

It was like Ray just casually jumps off the roof, but Homer walks near the edge, falls and lands on his back.

I watched it again...it doesn't happen exactly in that order...but there's a joke in there somewhere...

I wish I would've watched last night. It's probably a take-off on Saturday Night's old "MORE COWBELL" sketch.
