Philadelphia is so the Simpson family. Homer has his cheesesteaks and pretzels it's the 2nd fattest city in the country. Marge, seeing the pollution would have a lot of cleaning to do. Bart could have some fun with a few gangs, Maggie could be dropped into the Schukyll River for an entire episode without the family knowing and Lisa could study the affects of air pollution or even become a member of the city planning committee. Philly for the Simpsons would be great! Because in the show Springfield is an often overlooked town but it is important. Same with Philly!

Nuh uh, they could also make fun of the Liberty Bell, the Art Museum, the infamous Love Park (which has been screwed up now, thanks Mayor Street!), the whole "City of Brotherly Love" motto, the obsession w/ pretzels (Marge did have that Pretzel Wagon, after all), the 2nd fattest city distinction, lots of things. They could even work in references to Penn (Lisa being so smart and all, she could denounce it for the craptacular school it is: "Psssh, Penn's not a REAL Ivy!) And etc. Heck, if they could go to Delaware, why not Philly?
