That was a joke, by the way (I hoped that you caught that, considering that I did nail the reference right off the bat).

Loved RfaD, actually. It's brilliant and innovative, and incidentally, it's the movie that I have the toughest time lending out to my friends (although one of the most recommended). But while I think it's a great film, watching it is the cinematic equivalent of paying someone to kick you in the teeth.

According to the IMDB.com, the whole thing about dilating pupils is actually a goof (although it looks better on camera). In real life, your pupils actually contract.

But on the other hand, that scene in "Thirty Minutes over Tokyo" where they're all watching Bad Seizure Robots and they all get bad seizures, their pupils also dilate as well.

Yea! That was one of the most clever film references in years. They should "quote" more great independent/alternative films that maybe not everyone in the audience has seen--but should. Increase the level of cultural literacy.

Don't remember much of the flick except the double-dildo assfucking with Jennifer Connelly at the end. That scene's gonna get a lot of one-handed replay on my DVD.
