In the actual show Homer said "They're supposed to skin their knees, poke their eyes out, and be smothered by cats", but in the commercial the cat line was replaced by "eaten by witches."
In fact, the "smothered by cats" line didn't seem to sych properly with Homer's mouth.
I hope someone got fired for this blunder.

Children being eaten by witches was a feature of a THOH episode years ago in a vignette where the Bouvier women were all witches. Apparently nobody was "thinking about the children" when that THOH was written!
