When Homer went out the door of the plane, that may have been a spoof from the first "Alien" movie.

Also, when Homer was going up the log ride at the amusement park, I wasn't really paying attention when I was re-watching the episode, and suddenly I realized "THERE'S RALPH" so I quickly stopped the tape and rewound to watch it again.
