time again, maybe? for Worst Episode Ever

mine might be that one where marge tries to kill homer. very poorly developed (doesn't that plotline only surface in the third act?).

Mine would be HOMR [Homer has a crayon stuck in his brain]. The reason why I really dislike this episode so much is because Homer is just stupid because he is; there's no reason for why he is stupid. & I am not going to believe that he has a crayon stuck in his brain.

What? If you couldn't sense the clear sarcastic undertones of the ending of "Mr. Lisa", that's sad. Otherwise, it was a humorous political satire and easily the best vacation episode that involves a real location.

And to the second comment, I don't think all (or any, for that matter) Lisa episodes are too serious and preachy. Maybe you're too idiotic and simple? Hmm? Yeah, that's gotta be it.
