I want to buy Season Six DVD eventually. I was wondering if it's available anywhere directly in the normal DVD box? I don't want the Homer's head package. I would like to buy the regular box directly so that I don't have to pay for the free regular DVD box that they sell on a website. simpsonsbox.com I think it is.

I don't think so. You have to remember that the "regular" box is different from all of the other seasons' regular boxes. Instead of a sleeve that pulls out from the side, it uses the insert of the Homer's head version and comes out of the top of the box.

You can buy season 6 in a normal box here in Australia, but it hasn't been around as long as Homer's head. They conveniantly released it well after everybody had already bought the Homer Head one. Did the same with Marge's head. It annoyed me at the time, but I'm over it now. I'm going to stick to the head-boxes. Bugger it.

If it is ever released where I live in a normal box, I'll buy it. But until then, I don't want to risk buying Homer's head and then seeing the regular box a week later in the store.
I really don't like the heads. I am glad that for the following seasons, they released both versions. I don't know that they were thinking with season six.
