He also forgot about the Solstice ... And after all, it's the reason for the season. (Yes, I know, the Christians say that about Christ, but they stole it from the pagans. Besides, there was winter BEFORE Christ was born, right?, and the solstice is why it gets so cold in the northern hemisphere this time of year.)

It is much the same in Australia.

Looking pretty good here in Van Dieman's Land so far... a bit on the warm side though. Can't wait for winter to be honest :)
