Does anyone know when the Danny DeVito episode "Oh Brother Where Art Thou?" was made?
I ask because an article I am reading in a car magazine says it dates to 1991. I doubt this, because that's well before the movie itself came out, and I also don't recall this episode being nearly that old.

All you have to do is got to tvtome.com and do a search on Danny DeVito. It clearly shows the episode first aired in February of 1991, with the followup, 'Brother Can You Spare Two Dimes?" aired in August of 1992.
You've made the classic mistake that a better known title is the source. Realistically, both can be taking from a much earlier source.

To be more precise, 21 February 1991 and 27 August 1992, respectively (source: DVD box set liner notes).
I just watched the Coen film in question a few days ago. I believe it was 2000 (I can't check that DVD at the moment, because I'm moving this weekend, so I've got most of my stuff packed. Simpsons DVDs wouldn't fit in the same box, though. Maybe I need to buy less DVDs.)
that airdate is right, and a quick google search for "o brother where art thou title origin" yielded
