Ugh! No more daily Simpsons

We used to have The Simpsons Monday - Friday at 5 and 6 every day. Used to. The best part of being at work was knowing that as soon as I got home The Simpsons would be on. But no longer. Now they don't play it at all. Damn this futile existence!

The Comedy Network here are still showing one episode a night, which is good. But we used to get six more episodes on Saturday afternoons from another channel, called Global.

Two weekends ago, they replaced two of those episodes with two episodes of "Third Rock from The Sun." I was not happy, but now they did replaced two other episodes with sports shows, something about Extreme sports, so now, during the weekends, Global only shows two episodes instead of six.

It's too bad they don't have smart people working at that TV station.

Any channel between 882 and 999. And 388 and 389.

With a older DirecTV receiver and a hacked card you can get locals from lots of different cities. This leads to about 15 Simpsons episodes per day, as different affiliate stations play them at different times.

Acutally, before DirecTV launched a new satelite to handle local channels, all local channels for every market were broadcast from their main satellite (with a footprint covering the US and some parts of Canada) I was getting Simpsons at just about every half hour spot between 4:30 and midnight. Since there were plenty of overlaps, I had my choice of over 30 episodes each weekday. Those were some good times.

Not at all..it's day 4 with no daily episodes, and it sucks. I fully support a 24-hour Simpsons channel!

It would be nice just to have a Simpsons marathon sometime, maybe on a holiday, kind of like the marathons they run on Nick or TVLand. Till then, you could always watch Season 1 DVD over and over and over again ;-), and wait till August when Season 2 comes out (US). :-)

Yeah, I'll be watching the Season 1 DVD, and continuing to wait for Season 2...plus I have all but one or two episodes on VHS...but even so, there is just something not right about a town which doesn't show OFF every day!

What does "listed building" mean?
