has anyone else noticed that in the last seasons (10 - 13), the synchronization between the characters' lips and what they're actually saying has gotten worse? there's a technical term for this but it escapes me. not that it's really bad mind you, but the mouths and words seem to be off more often these days. like in last nights episode. there were a lot of lines that didn't fit with the movements of the mouths. i realize how difficult such a process is, but they used to do it really well. anyone agree? or have my eyes just gotten slower in my ripe old age of 24?

Lip syncing. I'd noticed that as well, but I just assumed it was down to watching NTSC videos on a PAL telly.

I think there is another term for it. Lip syncing is what Britney Spears does on stage.

yeah, that could be it. maybe the lines aren't set in stone when it's animated - in fact that's most likely true. i know i've seen the technical term for the process of matching mouth movements to words on snpp.com, but i can't find it at the moment and i have to go the store as i'm out of tea!
