My local WB affiliate (curse the name) has just replaced the 7:30 episode with that awful DREW CAREY SHOW. Of all the rotten ways to start a New Year, eh?

I'm happy with my hour and a half of The Simpsons. 6:00 PM, 7:30 PM, and 11:00 PM. Life is good.
We got King of the Hill at the 6:30 slot now.
We had it on FOX at 5:30 and 6:00 then it moved to 7:30 on the WB which sucks, i miss the back to back simpsons.

That's too bad... In Asheville, three stations air it every day M-F and on Saturday. The FOX station has an hour from 5 to 6, and at 11:30, UPN airs it 6:30 and 7:30, and the WB station puts it on at 7. Tape every episode on D-2, and buy a Tape Robotic Switcher like an Ampex ACR-225, and you never have to get up.

A while back, our WB got rid of the 5:30 ep. of the simpsons and put in Everybody Loves Raymond. I don't love Raymond!! I want my Simpsons!

In the S.F. Bay area, The Simpsons was cut to two episodes a night (at 7 and 11, down from 3 a night), however, in a miracle that somehow seems too good to be true, they are ADDING BACK an episode into the line-up!
The advertisement they are running says that they listened to the viewers. They listened to the remotes changing the channel. It will now be on at 6:00 pm, 7:30pm, and 11:00 pm, starting on the 7th.
Back to back Everybody loves Raymond in between the 6 and 7:30 episodes. They should just fill it in with Simpsons..
I'd take drew carey over king of the hill anyday! FOX in Chicago had such a good schedule: Home Improvement (ugh) at 5:00, Simpsons at 5:30 and 6:00, Seinfeld at 6:30, and simpsons again at 10:00.
Now they've put simpsons at 5:00 and 6:00 so I'm forced to watch that train wreck King of the Hill.

Think of it this way, King of the Hill gives you time to get up and go get something to eat. Then when you return you can catch the next simpsons.

Those of that steal DirecTV have it even worse. My 'friend' used to get his choice of 30 episodes of Simpsons in 12 different time slots each weekday. We're talking over 60 episodes a week.
Now, because in part due to an FCC order, they put up a new satellite to deliver local channels only to the geographic area they are supposed to go to, and he's getting about 8 a day (still some bugs to work out).

Channel 31 here in Denver still shows two episodes a day, but the time slots are ridiculous and seem to be easier for younger viewers who get out of school rather than older viewers trying to get out of work. So maybe Fox discontinued childrens programming, well they moved their comedy block to 3:00pmMT. Although the Simpsons get 4:30pm, which isn't as early, still most people don't get off work until 5:00 making it harder for those who have always liked to watch the show in alternative to the news, specifically "Kan't Make Good Highs" Channel 7. The other slot for the Simpsons is 5:30pm, which then competes with the national newscasts.
Personally, if I were Channel 31's program director, this would be my schedule:
3:00 Just Shoot Me 3:30 Drew Carey 4:00 3rd Rock from the Sun 4:30 Frasier 5:00 King of the Hill 5:30 King of the Hill 6:00 The Simpsons 6:30 Seinfield
Then after the news
10:00 Frasier 10:30 The Simpsons 11:00 Seinfield 11:30 Just Shoot Me
