How would you spell that sound that various Simpsons characters have made when yanking on their shirt collar, for example when worried that they've been found out or caught about something? You know, the quick shirt-collar tug as if venting steam.

I know exactly the sound you mean, and while I can't spell it, I wish to God that they'd stop using it. It is definatley un-funny and really dumb, especially since they seem to use it at least once in every episode now.

It may have been funny at the turn of the last century, which is where I think they stole it (er, "quoted it") from - it has a Henny Youngman feel to it - but some things don't age as well with time as others.
