Darn! Banksy's name was scrawled on a wall at the end of the sequence, but I thought that was just a gag... According to the article he did (or storyboarded) the whole thing.

I also wondered how even the Simpsons got away with such a swipe at Fox -- and themselves. The article indicates it wasn't quite a smooth ride.

The Simpsons have been taking swipes at Fox (and themselves) for decades.

Also, if you check out the website above, you will notice that, in the blackboard scene, Bart is wearing a mask. He is not wearing one in the broadcast version.

(The website will not let me view the video. Could somebody watch it and then watch one of the broadcast versions on YouTube, assuming Fox hasn't shut all of them down yet, and post the differences?)
