the others hate homer so much..... they cant overlook it or something

i think they dimiss the show because of it and somehow fail to realize that the simpsons is the only TV show out there that candidly holds everyone accountable including calling power monger george bush "monkey-faced"

i mean our (canada) communications officer for the prime minister called him a moron off the record, was fired and caused an international incident.

I love Homer with a passion that worries my husband.

That truly sucked. It's not like she said "bush should die" or something that could be construed as evil. she just said what a lot of people are already thinking.
