8:00 - The Girl Who Slept Too Little (GABF16) A protest against building a stamp museum behind the Simpson house results in it being built over the cemetery - and the cemetery being moved to behind the Simpson house, which scares Lisa to the point that she can't sleep at night until she decides to overcome her fear by spending a night in the cemetery itself
NOTE: Fox is currently holding a "Have It Your Way" contest in association with Burger King where one of Fox's four animated Sunday shows, based on a vote at http://www.fox.com/yourway, will air that night at 9:00; right now, Family Guy ("The Cleveland-Loretta Quagmire") is way ahead, but if The Simpsons wins, it appears as if "On a Clear Day I Can't See My Sister" will air. Also, when you vote, you can enter a contest to win a trip to Los Angeles and a chance to attend a table read of one of the shows. However, (a) Fox, not you, decides which show's table read you attend, (b) although the trip is for two people, only one may attend the table read (unless it is a minor and their parent/guardian), (c) the trip must be taken on a specific day, and (d) if the table read is "unavailable for any reason", you still get the trip, but that's it.

REVIEW: B - the first act at the pier had its moments, but the entire Marge and Bart story didn't really go anywhere, which is ironic as most of it takes place on a bicycle, and it ends up with nothing really happening as Marge breaks up a Karaoke show rather than have Bart turn into Principal Skinner; meanwhile, the arm wrestling bit pretty much died out after it was first mentioned.

GOOFS / FREEZE FRAME / WHATNOT On the first bike ride, Bart and Marge go from one side of the road to the other even though Bart doesn't turn the handlebars.
You would expect that the Ferris wheel and the roller coaster at Paradise Pier would have been visible in long-range shots of the town in past episodes, as the wheel has been around since Marge was a child. However, they never say that Paradise Pier is in Springfield; it could be in Shelbyville.
The joke about the three bottles in the carnival game is quite common. Johnny Carson told a joke many years ago about a storm that hit the Santa Monica pier, and the only thing left standing was the three bottles.
The answer to "Brothers and sisters have I none, but this man's father is my father's son" (although usually it is "that man" instead of "this man") really is "I am that man's son". "My father's sons" are myself and my brothers, but since "I" have no brothers, "my father's son" is "myself"; "that man's father is myself" means "I am that man's son."
