So, new episodes aren't good are they? This one is for sure.
A nice storyline, continuing on with Grade School Confidential
slightly (note that on the original episode it was frowned upon by the
whole town for Edna and Skinner to be dating. Perhaps they were finally
accepted as a couple?). Surprisingly enough, the characters also FELT
they were being who they were supposed to be. Bart being mischievous,
yet caring; Skinner afraid of his mother; Lisa being hypocritical; and
that funny scene between Martin and Nelson was pure genius. It totally
shows the real character and even though it was predictable, it
certainly brought a laugh to me.
Overall, I liked it. It reminds me of the good old days of
season 7, where the characters seemed real, and the jokes were funny
without being too insultingly funny.Grade: B (Now lets have some more like this, shall we?)
