REVIEW: B - the first two acts were a B+ bordering on an A-, but the
        minute Lisa suggested that Homer try to use his show to do
        good, it was painfully obvious (and not funny, like pretty
        much every other time this has been tried) what was going to
        happen, and the whole "Krusty's bar Mitzvah" (both of them)
        felt tacked on for some reason.

GOOFS / FREEZE FRAME / WHATNOT The circle around the K in (Circle K)-Mart is one of the symbols used to indicate that something is kosher. (A circle around a U is another one; the difference is in the organization doing the certification.) There is an urban legend that the circle-K on bottles of "Snapple" indicate either an endorsement or that some of the profits go to the Ku Klux Klan (the legend also states that the ship on the label is a slave ship).

Krusty's clothes were not wet after the rainstorm.

One of the rules Krusty forgot to mention: you're not supposed to write the word "God" (I think it has something to do with the fact that you're not supposed to defile the name by erasing or otherwise destroying it once it's written). I wonder if Joel H. Cohen spelled it out in the scripts (or used something like "G-d")?
