Today on CBC, they aired 9F19 "Krusty Gets Kancelled" yet the credits were for 9F08 "Lisa's First Word"? Anyone know what's up with that?

No, I'm one of those brilliant Canadians. I don't think too many Americans would know what the CBC was...they'd probably try to correct me and tell me I meant to say CBS.
Since almost no American can get CBC, why would we know what it was? We have plenty of our own networks.

Are you sure? I could've sworn they do the syndication cuts. I know the comedy network and the A Channel in Calgary show Simpsons un cut.
I will be the final word. In Canada, CBC, Fox, and CFMT all show The Simpsons with syndication cuts. The Comedy Network does not. And the Saturday and Sunday Global reruns are uncut as well.
The CBC encourages sub-par Canadian programming. The CBC gives shows money purely to fulfill the CRTC's Canadian Content Regulations. Therefore, Canada has very few shows that can even compete with American shows. Because they are all rushed into production and there is no competition.
Once in a blue moon good shows come out of Canada. Kids in the Hall, SCTV, Tom Green, Twitch City, Newsroom.
That is why I left Canada and moved to the entertainment capital of the world---- LOS ANGELES, CA.
I live in Los Angeles, and don't find it entertaining in the slightest.

The CBC has one or two shows which I would consider "sub-par", but by and large, their content in the past five years at least, has been excellent, even in the fiction/entertainment end.

The only example i can think of is when Bart and Abe are hugging after getting the art work from the bottom of the ocean - the local Ten Network (Aus) cut the bit "hey get a room" from the ancestor...

Does french-canadians counts? A local-made (and quite well done) french dub of The Simpsons runs on two cable channels (TQS and Teletoon), most of the episodes not having those syndication cuts. Lately, though, there are more noticeable cuts and the end credits are reduced to a freezed frame of the episode number and info parts toward the end. Shame on that.
