"Googling" is a term used to describe the activity of using the Google search engine to search for web pages (and in some cases, pictures) that contains the subject that the user is interested in.

Gremlins is a 1984 film about a young adult who receives a unique creature called a Mogwai for Christmas. While taking care of the creature, he ends up breaking the two biggest rules in taking care of the creature: do not get it wet, and never feed it after midnight. As a result, his home town is terrorized by Gremlins, a group of vicious creatures that a Mogwai turns into if fed after midnight. As most people can tell you, the Gremlins used in the film were animatronic puppets, not the real thing.

Uno is a "brand name" variation of the old card game Crazy Eights. The object of the game is the same as Crazy Eights: to be the first person to get rid of all your cards in your hand via playing cards of the same number or suit. However, unlike Crazy Eights, Uno is different in that: 1. It has four other types of cards along with the number cards and "wild" card (Skip, Reverse, Draw Two, and Wild Draw Four) 2. When a person is down to his last card, he/she must say, "Uno." If someone catches him/her not saying "Uno", then he/she must draw two cards as a penalty.

MUSIC CUES:

-Beethoven's 9th Symphony aka Ode to Joy (music when Rod and Tod are on the seesaw) -Welcome to the Jungle (Ned's song when "childproofing" his home)

Another movie reference is "Vertigo"; the scenes where Rod (or was it Todd?) looked down while climbing used the same effect Hitchcock did when Jimmy Stewart was climbing up the belfry. (Well, the same-looking....)
