"Trilogy of Error" REALLY parodied the movie "Go"

Has anyone on here even SEEN that movie? (just curious) Because last sunday's episode was really a parody of that movie. "Go" is a story that starts in one place, and goes through 3 different perspectives of the day (the girl, the british guy, the gay guys), fading out and starting over at the beginning scene after each day ended (just like Trilogy). It also had questions from the first segment answered with the following segments. Here are some references to the movie:

-In the British guy's (can't remember his character's name) perspective of the day in "Go", they steal a red ferrari towards the end of his segment. -The font used for "Homer, Lisa, and Bart's Day" was the same font used to label days in the movie (a stretch maybe, but watch the movie, and you'll agree) -The third day in "Go" was about two gay guys, didn't the whole "Bart and Milhouse in the trash can" kinda seem to spoof two gay guys?

If you've seen the movie, you'll know what I mean.

Of what movie? Trilogy of Terror? That movie scared the crud out of me when I was a kid, but it doesn't seem much like it. I think that this tripartite story doesn't necessarily imitate any one movie (save for "Run Lola Run" from which some music was taken for "Lisa's Day"). Rather, it uses a particular style of storytelling that has been adopted for many different movies, TV shows, etc., etc., etc.

No, the movie "Go", like it says in the subject line. I've seen it, and yes, it is similar. At the time I didn't make the connection, though.

i think the episode parodies lots of works that are told in this manner. most notablely run lola run and go. but i would say its more of genre spoof.

Hell yeah, I thought I was the only one scared of 'Trilogy of Terror'. First saw the movie when I was probably 5 years old...the only thing that haunts me is that little monster in the last story jumping up and down chasing the woman through the house....and then when she kills him, she looks into the camera and starts stabbing the floor....(shiver)...
