well I can relate to what Homer said about missing out on stuff like meeting Mr. T.

Anyway! this is a prety good Episode but It had some flaws. It starts as homer gets Shafted by a Inanimate carbon rod. later Homer and Bart are at the mercy of trying to change the channel about a Shuttle launch in which to see Bart pull the plug! I had a simular experence about this. later the Rod is used again to hold a door shut to keep the crew alive. then we see the crew humming Glory glory Haliluya? or somthing but gets funny when homer sings the Golden Ghrams theme!

Very good Episode but the flaws I saw was the constant and pointles use of hitting the guys with the "Black thing"? then homer turning into a slob when the shuttle takes off. a stupid stick getting credit and finaly .... what is the deal with the ending where a Spaceship with the Fox logo hits a baby homer on the head in a glass jar?

I give this Episode a D- but it is watchable

This is an obvious reference to the movie "2001: A Space Odyssey."

D-!!!! are you fucking kidding? that is one of the best episodes ever (along with homer getting sued for sexual harassment and klown kollege). although the references to 2001 A Space Odyssey and The Right Stuff are not subtle, it is a very well-crafted episode and has a great itchy and Scratchy. The Mr. T speech and Mr. Burns announcing a reward for the head of Col. (or Gen.?) Montoya are great speeches.

If that episode is a D-, what would the episode where marge gets breast implants be ranked?

the deal with the ending where a baby homer is in a glass egg seemed very nutty as one of Groening's right wing comedy spoofs I give this Episode a B+ very watchable William Smith as Homeron54 DOW!

I assume your local station is WFLD Chicago, which aired it at 6:00 tonight. I thought they would've held it out a lot longer, considering I haven't seen them show "City of New York vs. Homer Simpson" since before 9/11/01. I'm not complaining though, I love that episode and I personally wasn't offended at all.

Doesn't "Nutty Professor II: The Clumps" feature a space shuttle? FUX is airing it on Friday.

Oh my. What would be the point? They'd just have to cut half of everything. Boy, that was an awful, awful, awful movie.

Thankfully I never saw it. It's weird how FOX refused to show a John Doe episode that featured a space shuttle, but will air garbage like this.
