While the characters are supposed to be human, humans don't have such grotesquely bugged-out eyes, typically; and the characters all seem to have jaundice, but there is no mention of this. I really hope someone got fired for this blunder.
Also, it appears that the whole show is a cartoon--hardly realistic AT ALL! I'm going to alert the scientific community at this year's Big Science Thing. I hope they listen.
